HELEP – Household Empowerment and Livelihood Enrichment Program (for severely disadvantaged households)

Credit is not always the solution or the right thing. In those cases of subsistence living, abject poverty, natural disasters, and resource-scarce communities, what is needed is a support program. Deva’s HELEP assists such households through gifts (provision) of livestock and small productive equipment that could be sources of economic activity, income, and nutrition. The HELEP comes in the form of:

1. Cow
2. Sheep, Goats and Pigs
3. Hen, Turkey, Goose and Guinea Fowl
4. Grass cutter, Rabbits
5. Snails, etc.
6. Grinding machine
7. POS terminal
8. Etc.

The HELEP is delivered as part of DevA’s social program.
